Downloads Events Press Store Contact

There is almost nothing we love more than helping individuals get plugged into this issue and to be a part of what SOLD is doing. Maybe you know exactly how you would like to volunteer or maybe all you know is that you want to get involved in some way, but don’t quite know what that looks like.   No worries—we’ve all been there!

Volunteer in the US

We have activists all around the US who have learned how to screen The SOLD Project: Thailand documentary and speak to their community about preventing child prostitution.  We have other activists holding unique fundraisers geared towards their own community.  Check out our Re:Act page to learn how others are using their skills and talents to get involved in this issue.

Also, we offer internships in the fall and spring for a more in-depth look into this issue and how SOLD is a part of it.  For more information, please email our internship coordinator, Carrie Shaffer ().

Volunteer in Thailand

We will be offering yearly short-term trips to Thailand starting in the summer of 2011.  The participants of these trips will be chosen through an application process; priority will be given to current and former SOLD interns.

For those interested in volunteering for six months or more, we are currently creating a long-term volunteer program and hope to have it up and running by Spring 2011. The participants of this program will also be chosen through an application process; priority is given to current and former SOLD interns.  Stay in touch by signing up to receive our monthly emails so that you are one of the first to know about opportunities to join us as a short-term or long-term volunteer as they become available.

If you are in Thailand or plan to travel through Thailand and would like to visit our offices in Chiang Rai, please email us ().
